AN OVERVIEW OF THE VEDA- HINDU UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA

 The Hindu University of America offers classes in Hindu-based philosophical systems that emphasize critical thinking, morality, and introspection. It trains students for service, leadership and engagement in the world by promoting Hindu culture and traditions in an academically independent environment. Hindu University of America offers many courses such as Vedic courses, Sanskrit language courses, Vedic studies courses, Hindu Veda.

The Vedas are the oldest body of sacred knowledge known to man. The four Vedas will be mapped from a bird's eye view, their structure and various components, branches, classifications and sub-classifications. An overview of the entire corpus of Vedic knowledge will be presented, including its implications and auxiliary disciplines. The purpose, structure, methodology and hierarchical classification of Ved will be clarified. Students will explore the central themes of the Vedas and how these ideas continue to remain relevant and permeate contemporary Hindu life.

Hindu University of America offers many courses such as Vedic courses, Sanskrit language courses, Vedic studies courses, Hindu Veda.  This field enriches the discipline of Conflict and Peace Studies by providing a Hindu perspective. By becoming more inclusive and pluralistic, conflicts at different levels can be approached more creatively. There are few contemporary studies on the Hindu perspective on conflict and peace. Most of these studies will focus on Indian developments in the 20th century (especially its second half) and juxtapose Indian thought with dominant Western theories.   Certificate Program in Sanskrit Proficiency - Advanced Phase It is comprised of eight courses for students of all ages, including post the high school level (Grade 12 or GED). It is the final of three phases that follow - Intermediate, Beginner and Advanced. They make up the Certificate Program in Sanskrit Learning Proficiency.
