BODHAK – THE GITA VIDYA TEACHER TRAINING | HUA

 Hindu University of America offers many courses such as: Vedic Courses, Sanskrit Courses, Vedic Study Courses, Hindu Vedas.

BODHAK - Gita Vidya Teacher Course Contents:

The Gita Vidya program is designed and developed using the G-Education model to spread the wisdom of the Bhagavad-Gita through smart communication tools and modern educational tools. Utilizing the knowledge gained through DEHA, GNANA and YOGA courses, participants will be able to conduct GitaVidya classes for different audiences from different age groups. In this course, participants will discuss ways to engage their audience through activities involving learning material such as transliteration textbooks, workbooks, audio recitations and explanatory videos, etc.

Textbooks: Transliteration textbooks are available in 24 languages. These textbooks help in reading and writing shlokas texts. Participants can easily learn shlokas in the language of their choice. Transliteration textbooks are available for participants to download free of charge.

Guided sounds: Guided sounds are available in two formats. "Singing guide audios" are useful for hearing the exact pronunciation of shlokas. "Guided videos" are helpful in learning the pronunciation of shlokas word by word.

Workbook: The workbook is designed to spark interest and facilitate learning with graphic illustrations and other smart features. The workbook contains QR links to supplementary course materials such as guided recitation of shlokas and their explanatory videos.


Course structure:

In this course, participants will gain practical knowledge of the teaching tools and training methods of the Gita Vidya program. Participants plan and implement activities involving each of the following modules to achieve the learning objectives of the GitaVidya courses.

The SADHANA module provides an overview of the Bhagavad-Gita in 17 thematic topics. Students can add color to graphic illustrations, copywrite shlokas in their chosen language, and practice accurate pronunciation with guided sounds.

The SODHANA module provides a deeper understanding of the Bhagavad-Gita shlokas by offering E-classes on their meaning and interpretation. Students can watch video lessons by scanning the QR codes provided on each page of the workbooks.

The VAADANA module enables the practical application of the wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita in one's own life. Participants will engage in debate and discuss real problems to find possible solutions to these problems by applying the wisdom of the Bhagavad-gita.

This course provides practical knowledge of conducting SADHANA, SODHANA and VAADANA modules for audiences of various age groups in various settings such as academic institutions, spiritual organizations or community groups etc.

Class structure:

Each week there will be at least 1.5 contact hours with the faculty. The class is structured to encourage discussion and debate each week based on self-study and reflection. After the weekly class, students will be required to submit audio recordings of verses and complete online assignments with drag and drop questions

  Certificate Program in Sanskrit Proficiency - Advanced Phase It is comprised of eight courses for students of all ages, including post the high school level (Grade 12 or GED).
