CERTIFICATE PROGRAM IN SANSKRIT PROFICIENCY - ADVANCED PHASE

The Hindu University of America offers classes in Hindu-based philosophical systems that emphasize critical thinking, morality, and introspection. It trains students for service, leadership and engagement in the world by promoting Hindu culture and traditions in an academically independent environment. The Sanskrit Proficiency - Advanced Phase

certification program consists of eight courses for post-secondary (Grade 12 or GED) students of all ages. This is the final stage of her three successive stages, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, which together constitute the Certification Program in Sanskrit Proficiency. Completion of the Beginner and Intermediate levels of the Sanskrit Proficiency Program is assumed. (8 quarters total) As students progress, the language of instruction gradually transitions to Sanskrit at a comfortable and easy pace.

This is an 8-quarter, 88-week in-depth study designed to help pre-Sanskrit students to practice reading, writing, composing simple passages, and participating in simple conversations to progress to higher levels. Easy level course. The Intermediate CPSP is intended for high school students and adults with a passion for learning a new language in depth and applying it to the study of Hindu texts and literature and the many bodies of knowledge that derive from it. Taught by her dedicated HUA faculty through an easy-to-use online platform that incorporates a learning model that uses live virtual classrooms.
