CHCS (CERTIFICATE IN HINDU CIVILIZATIONAL STUDIES)

The Certificate in Hindu Civilizational Studies (CHCS) is a 12-credit program that analyzes Hindu culture from a Hindu perspective. It assists students in understanding Hindu Dharma as one of the world's oldest, continuous, and still-thriving cultures. It reveals Dharma, or sustainability or natural order, through its culture and knowledge traditions. This program assists students in discovering, reconnecting, and deeply establishing Sanatana Dharma via intensive study of Hindu Civilization.

Certificate in Hindu Civilizational Studies

It is divided into two parts:

1. Exploring Hinduism—a set of courses that investigate the history, characteristics, and practices of Sanatana Dharma and Hindu philosophy, the foundation of Hindu Civilization. What is Sanatana Dharma? What exactly is Hinduism? When did Hinduism begin? Who is a Hindu? What are the differences between Hindus? Is Hinduism still relevant today? Such inquiries are addressed in "Exploring Hinduism" classes.

2. Hindu Contributions to World History - courses on how the Hindu civilisation and its knowledge systems influenced world progress in Matter and Mind. This lecture series examines the sciences, technologies, innovations, industry, prosperity, wealth, and intellectual leadership that helped India become a sought-after civilization throughout history.

For the past 2000 years, India has dominated global trade, supplying 30% of it. The rise of India is rarely discussed. What was the end result? What was traded? This course series investigates the components of this 33% of global trade and its impact on the world and India. This subject is rarely discussed. The fundamental question of "How could this civilization give all of this and more - to both the East and the West?" is also addressed.

Participants may enroll in any quarter and complete the eight courses in any order and at their own pace to achieve their certification. This program is open to everyone globally, regardless of Indian or Hindu origin. It will demonstrate the differences between the Hindu, Bharatiya, and Indic worlds and ours.

Program Learning Objectives:

Students will be able to do the following at the completion of this program:

Explain the Hindu Dharma paradigm.

Describe key characteristics of Hindu civilization.

Examine different Hindu misrepresentations.

Compile a comprehensive summary of world history.

Create a broader feeling of purpose and importance.

The intended audience is as follows:

This curriculum is appropriate for personal development in any of the categories listed below.

1) Academics—Students may enroll in this course program at times that do not conflict with their primary academic programs in order to obtain an international credit-bearing certification.

2) Professionals and individuals can attend this as a Continuing Education program to improve their careers by acquiring inspiration, ideas, conviction, and direction to innovate or contribute to Dharma and sustainability.

3) Cultural—In geographically dispersed households, children, friends, parents, and grandparents can congregate in the same spot or across continents to discuss their heritage, customs, and culture.

Context of the program:

What sets someone apart in a competitive society where many people are similarly qualified? Is there a goal? Do you want to make a difference? SEL abilities? These are nonverbal abilities and attitudes. Their primary talents are creative problem solving, communication, and responsible social participation. Unlike Core Foundational competencies, which can be taught, SEL skills must be developed through methods that stimulate curiosity, ideas, cognition, and confidence.

Hindu Civilization has a millennia-long history of survival, expansion, and wisdom. Because the Hindu Civilization is founded on Dharma, its secrets apply to everyone.
